Facebook

Nowadays alot of people use facebook all over the world. People use it to find out the latest news or post the latest thing that happened throughout their day so their friends can know what is the latest. Facebook has become very popular and now everyone has it. Businesses are useing it to bring publicity and people who want to be heard also use it. Additionally regular people like you and me use it to connect with friends. To exemplify, someone whom i know found a friend from her early childhood on facebook and reconnected. Another person found their high school sweet heart and now they are getting married. Facebook has done wonders to people and the good things it has done has outweighed the bad things that people do. Even the President of the United States has one!

My Bestie

Throughout Middle School and High School it is super important to have a close friend that you can confide in for all the things you don’t want to tell anyone else. These unique type of friends are called Best Friends or Best Friends for Life (BFFL). These people are with you through  the good and the bad and will always support you and call you when you’re doing something wrong. They don’t mind you getting mad at them for telling you the truth because they know you need to know the truth. They also support you when you need to make a hard decision and help you get over a hard time. They are amazing people and everyone needs to have a Best Friend in order to keep their calm and be able to not have that much stress on your plate because that can cause health issues.

Students Geing Connected

Students should definitely have a cell phones in school for an array of reasons but they should have it on silent if not off. Students need their cell phones in case they have an emergency and the closes phone is in the path of danger you just reach in your pocket or book bag to get your cell phone and call 911 and then tell an adult. Students should not misuse the privilege of having a cell phone if they do not necesarily need it. A middle school in Hebei, China has banned students from carrying and using mobile phones on campus, using metal detectors to search students. We have the privilege to be able to carry around our cell phones instead of being searched in order to check we don’t have them.

Japan’s Worst Natural Disaster

Following the 8.9 magnitude earthquake a roaring tsunami hits northeastern Japan and killed hundreds of people. The violent wall of water swept cars, houses, and killed people. After dawn Saturday was when they truly say the magnitude of disaster cause by these terrible natural disasters. President Barack Obama pledged U.S. assistance following what he called a potentially catastrophic disaster. He said one U.S. aircraft carrier is already in Japan and a second was on its way. Japan was truly a disaster after the earthquake and the tsunami and still hasn’t recovered. Many people have gone to Japan to assist and help the people left without homes or simply without families. This is a catastrophic event and we should attempt to lend a hand.

Countdown to Adventure

As our studious eight graders recover from the Florida Comprehension Assessment Test (FCAT) they anxiously count down the days left to at last get an academic break from school by going to the amazing parks “Islands of Adventure” and “Universal Studios”. This eighth grade trip gives the students a chance to have a once in a life time opportunity with the friends these students have acquired throughout their final year in middle school. Although the students must pay ninety nine dollar in order to enjoy this trip, it is still a low rate and definitely worth every cent. As an anticipating eighth grader myself, I know I will have the most unique experience in middle school with all the friends I have acquired and I know I will enjoy this trip to the maximum. Additionally, you will also have time with the people who prepared you to succeed, you r teachers. Subsequently, inside these two parks there is an array of magnificent rides such as “The Hulk”, “Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey”, and “The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman.”To commence the day, the students must be at the bus stop at four thirty in the morning in order to leave the school at approximately five in the morning and arrive at approximately nine in the morning. During the bus ride we make a pit stop in order to get breakfast, stretch out and use the bathroom. Throughout the day the students will be able to explore all the amazing attractions provided to them as well as the entertainment. The school will be provided lunch for the students and from past experience has amazing choice of deliciously scrumptious food.  At the end of the day you will be able to buy from the gift shop in order to have a souvenir from this spectacular day and also that will be the place where we meet before getting on the bus.  On the bus ride home, most students are exhausted from the long day of walking and going on the attractions and usually fall asleep. On the way back we make another stop to have a snack or dinner, and stretch out after riding on the bus for a while. Students then arrive back at school at approximately ten thirty at night and parents are usually waiting for them to take them home after such a magnificent spectacular day. This will be a long lasting memory for the eighth graders.
